General Questions
For Group Organizers
No, you can only post events for the state in which the event is physically located in, in the instance that the state is for the same state as the FURsvp instance. This restriction helps ensure:
- Better local event management
- Compliance with state-specific regulations
- More accurate event information
- Proper verification of event details
Important: Attempting to post events for states other than where your event is located may result in account suspension or termination and / or removal of your event.
To assign assistants to your group:
- Go to your profile
- Click on the "Manage Assistants" button
- Use the search field to find users by name or username
- Click "Add" next to the user you want to assign
Assistants can help you:
- View and manage RSVPs
- Send messages to attendees
- Update event details
- Monitor event capacity
Note: You can remove assistants at any time from the same management page.

FURsvp is a platform for event organization and RSVP management only. We are not responsible for:
- The conduct of event organizers or attendees
- The safety or security of event venues
- Any incidents or accidents that occur prior, during, or after events
- The quality or accuracy of event information provided by organizers
- Any disputes between event organizers and attendees
By using FURsvp, you acknowledge that you attend events at your own risk and that FURsvp is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that may occur during events.
As an event organizer, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring your event complies with all local, state, and federal laws
- Providing accurate and complete event information
- Maintaining appropriate safety measures at your event
- Managing attendee behavior and resolving conflicts
- Obtaining necessary permits, licenses, or insurance
- Handling any incidents or emergencies that occur during your event
- Protecting attendee privacy and personal information
We recommend that all event organizers:
- Have appropriate liability insurance
- Create and communicate clear event rules and guidelines
- Have a plan for handling emergencies
- Keep records of important event communications
While FURsvp is open source, our assets are protected and have specific usage restrictions:
- All logos, graphics, and branding elements are proprietary and cannot be used in public projects
- The FURsvp name and branding cannot be used without explicit permission
- You may not use our assets to create derivative works or competing services
- Any unauthorized use of our assets may result in legal action
Important: The open source nature of our code does not grant permission to use our assets. All assets remain the exclusive property of FURsvp.
